Privacy Policy

KeepStreaks ("we", "us") provides a habit-tracking app for Android and iOS. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run the app, we don't sell your data, and you can delete your account and all of your data at any time, directly in the app.

Data we collect

Account information.When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, and (for Google) profile photo from that account. We use these to create and identify your account. If you use Apple's "Hide My Email", we only receive the private relay address Apple generates for you.

Habit and activity data. The habits, routines, completions, streaks, points, and settings you create in the app are stored on our servers so they sync across your devices and survive reinstalls. We also store your timezone so that streaks and reminders are computed against your local day.

Push-notification token. If you enable notifications, we store a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token for your device so we can deliver the reminders you have asked for. The token identifies your device, not you personally.

Device and usage data. We use Google Firebase Analytics to collect device information (such as device model, operating system version, and app version) and aggregated usage events (such as which screens are used) so we can understand how the app is used and improve it.

Crash data. We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and diagnostics (stack traces, device state at the time of a crash) so we can find and fix bugs.

Payment data. If you buy a subscription or make a one-time purchase, the payment is processed by Razorpay. We receive and store payment metadata — such as the order, amount, and payment status — needed to activate and manage your purchase. We never receive or store your card number, UPI PIN, or other payment credentials; those go directly to Razorpay.

What we don't do

We do not sell your personal data. We do not show third-party ads and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. We do not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone, or photos.

How we use data

We use your data to operate the app: syncing your habits, computing streaks and points, sending the reminders you enable, processing purchases you make, keeping the app reliable (analytics and crash reports), and providing support when you contact us.

Third parties we share data with

We share data only with the service providers needed to run KeepStreaks:

Google Firebase (Google LLC) — analytics, crash reporting, and push-notification delivery. Firebase processes device identifiers, usage events, crash data, and FCM tokens on our behalf.

Razorpay (Razorpay Software Pvt. Ltd.) — payment processing for subscriptions and one-time purchases. Razorpay handles your payment instrument details directly, under its own privacy policy.

We do not share your data with anyone else, except if required by law.

Where your data is stored

Your account and habit data are stored on our servers, and data processed by our service providers (Google Firebase, Razorpay) may be stored on their infrastructure, which can include servers outside India. We choose providers that protect data with industry-standard safeguards.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time, directly in the app: open Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and permanent — your habits, completions, streaks, points, and account information are erased and cannot be recovered. Payment records may be retained where required by tax or accounting law. If you prefer, you can also request deletion by emailing reachmountainboi@gmail.com.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored with access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we design for least privilege and keep the data we hold to a minimum.

Children

KeepStreaks is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update this page and the effective date above, and where appropriate notify you in the app.

Governing law

KeepStreaks is operated from India, and this policy is governed by the laws of India.
