Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the KeepStreaks mobile app and the keepstreaksapp.com website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these terms.

The service

KeepStreaks is a habit tracker built around forgiving weekly streaks: you set a weekly goal per habit, complete habits to build streaks and earn points, and can protect streaks with freezes. Some features are free; others require a paid subscription or one-time purchase.

Your account

You sign in with a Google or Apple account. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

Subscriptions & purchases

Paid features are offered as subscriptions or one-time purchases. Prices are shown in the app in Indian Rupees (INR) and payments are processed by Razorpay. Subscriptions bill at the start of each subscription cycle (as shown at purchase) until cancelled. You can cancel your subscription in the app at any time; cancellation stops future billing and you keep access to paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for. Refunds are handled according to the policies of the store or payment provider through which you purchased. Prices may change; changes apply from your next billing cycle and will be communicated in advance.

Acceptable use

Don't abuse the Service: no attempts to disrupt it, access other users' data, reverse engineer it, or exploit the points and streak systems through automated or fraudulent activity. We may suspend accounts that do.

Your content

The habits and data you create remain yours. You grant us the limited rights needed to store, sync, and display that data back to you (and to people you explicitly share with) in order to operate the Service.

Intellectual property

The KeepStreaks app, website, name, logo, and design are our property and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service except as permitted by law.

Points, streaks & virtual items

Points, freezes, badges, and similar in-app items have no monetary value, are not redeemable for cash, and may be adjusted if we change how the systems work or detect abuse.

Availability & changes to these terms

We work hard to keep the Service reliable, but we may add, change, or remove features over time. We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date, and continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account and data in the app (Settings → Delete Account). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KeepStreaks is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
